Invuse, – the new name for Invotra Consulting- an internal communications consultancy specialist based in Surrey, has collaborated with the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) to offer in-depth training and education, alongside the existing provision of accessibility audits and usability assessments.

Covering all areas of digital accessibility, and the demands of WCAG, the training offers content publishers, web designers and developers an insight into the issues facing accessible users of websites and applications. Key techniques and best approaches are provided to improve the accessibility of their platforms, and to not only meet but exceed WCAG 2.1 AA.

Invuse has 5+ years of experience working with the public sector in meeting WCAG 2.1 AA compliance requirements, most recently supporting organisations to meet the accessibility deadlines for public sector websites and mobile applications.

RNIB brings invaluable understanding of accessibility and usability requirements. Experts in ensuring that websites and apps are inclusive and usable for people with sight loss, they provide advice, support and technical expertise for organisations facing an uphill battle to ensure their web/mobile digital projects incorporate accessibility and usability.

Together, the two inclusive organisations are working together to spread awareness as far as possible.

"It has been a pleasure working alongside the RNIB to help organisations of all sizes across the UK and US improve the user and accessibility experience of their digital communication services. We’re passionate about accessibility and working with organisations through training, auditing and design. Invotra Consulting ensures organisations are not only compliant but leading the way by creating user experiences for 100% of their audiences."

About RNIB:

We are the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB).

Every six minutes, someone in the UK begins to lose their sight. RNIB is taking a stand against exclusion, inequality and isolation to create a world without barriers where people with sight loss can lead full lives. A different world where society values blind and partially sighted people not for the disabilities they’ve overcome, but for the people they are.
