By September 23rd 2020 all Public Sector websites must be WCAG 2.1 AA compliant in order to meet The Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
Comms, HR and IT professionals are all racing to ensure that the deadline is met.
On July 29th we hosted an accessibility Q&A with expert Léonie Watson offering Public Sector professionals advice and guidance in meeting the WCAG 2.1 AA requirements.
The session provided advice, support and guidance on PDFs, links, best practices, accessibility statements, audits and information about the regulations.
