As a Microsoft Consultant you’ll play a vital role within our User Experience team. Your primary objective will be to empower our customers to make the most of their Microsoft 365 investments, enhance productivity, and meet their business goals by leveraging Sharepoint and the wider Microsoft suite.
Each project commences with a Research and Discovery phase, where we delve into user needs and business objectives. You will lead the implementation of our Microsoft projects to our customers, including design, configuration and ongoing evolution of their products, services and solutions. You will collaborate with our network of Microsoft partners to ensure the delivery of an excellent service.
Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct stakeholder identification and facilitate interviews and workshops to gather essential insights.
Lead research efforts to transition client needs into detailed requirements and specifications for Microsoft 365, encompassing Sharepoint, Teams, and PowerApps, utilising our partner network where required.
Tailor Microsoft 365 solutions to align with client needs and requirements.
Configure settings, integrate with other applications, and develop custom workflows as needed.
Provide comprehensive training and support to empower users to maximise their Microsoft 365 experience.
Offer guidance to our customers on collaboration, communication, and data management best practices.
Evaluate the customers existing IT infrastructure to identify gaps and potential efficiencies.
Recommend strategies to optimise Microsoft 365 utilisation.
Utilise MoSCoW prioritisation to analyse research findings and shape a phased rollout and end-user adoption strategy for clients.
Define success criteria for each project phase to ensure objectives are met.
Stay abreast of emerging Microsoft trends and developments that may impact clients and services.
Provide support and knowledge sharing within the broader team through training and development initiatives.
Support tender submissions
Proven expertise in Microsoft 365, whether as a consultant, leader, or practitioner
A comprehensive understanding of current Microsoft 365 services
Strong communication and presentation skills,
Active listener with empathy
Able to understand customer needs Innovative and creative approach to deciphering customer requirements
Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative user research techniques, in user requirements gathering
Comfortable working with a range of different teams and different working environments
Possesses an open, adaptable mindset, suitable for fast-paced environments
