Business Analyst Role:

As a Business Analyst you will work as part of our User Experience team to help customers research, design, develop and evolve their digital communications platforms for both staff and public facing services.  You will work closely with our teams to help take our learnings from working with the UK Public Sector over the last 10 years, into the health sector to support and drive innovative change to improve the services provided to their audiences.

You will conduct research and analysis in order to help customers identify their business problems, before working closely with stakeholders and end users to design a strategy that helps them overcome their challenges and deliver quality inclusive experiences through digital services that are built for end users, with end users.

You will help customers improve processes, products and services by combining user research with data analysis. From this work you will support customers in identifying and prioritising requirements to form implementation plans that help bridge the gap between business’ digital objectives and end user needs to improve the experience for all end users.

Job Specification:

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Help identify stakeholders and host interviews workshops on research projects in the health sector

  • Lead requirements gathering and product specifications for website and intranet development projects 

  • Understanding of the healthcare sector and the specific processes and systems used within NHS Trusts and the wider health sector.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders from different backgrounds, including patients, healthcare professionals, and IT staff, to gather requirements and ensure that solutions meet the needs of the business

  • Work with our sales and marketing team to share our story and expertise tailored to the health sector

  • Ability to analyse data from multiple sources and use it to inform decision-making and improve the experience for users/staff

  • Prioritise research findings using MoSCoW to help build a 3, 6 and 12 month roadmap for customers to implement post research 

  • Define success criteria for each phase of customer projects

  • Support customer to complete ROT analysis of their content, provide advice on content design and best practices to create accessible digital content 

Minimum Experience Required:

  • 2+ years experience working with or in the health sector with a focus on technology

  • Strong, confident communicator, with excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Good listener and empathetic with customers to help understand their requirements

  • Innovative and creative approach to understanding customer requirements

  • Confident working in a digital professional services  environment

  • Open, flexible and adaptable mindset and able to work in a fast moving environment

  • Familiar with digital communications platforms and the concept of an intranet

Nice To Haves:
